Costa Rica, March 2006

Costa Rica is a great place for a honeymoon.  Or a wedding. Or both, for our friends Michelle and Andy.  Ever the detailed planners, Chelle and Andy convinced their 20 closest family members and friends to join them on about 2 months notice.  We were honored to be invited and jumped at the chance to return to Costa Rica.  We flew into Liberia and met up with Michelle's friends Lisa and Jay for a bumpy ride to Tamarindo.  Michelle and Andy treated us to dinner on Thursday and an Estuary tour down the river on Friday morning.  The wedding was on Friday evening.  On Saturday, we hitched a ride with Michelle's family to Monteverde, a very entertaining ride pretty much straight up a mountain.  In Monteverde we hiked everywhere - to breakfast, to the Night Tour and Ranario, to dinner, on a 3 hour walk in the Cloud Forest.  We needed all that walking to work off the Imperials (local CR cerveza)
