Rome and Florence Italy, October 2004
Nothing like a last minute trip booked via the internet. Our neighbors Penny and Casey gave us a great guidebook that got us around Rome. From the Parthenon to the Forum to the Spanish Steps - and that was just the first day! Denise's favorite Rome site was the Trevi Fountain at night. Those pictures didn't turn out though. Three days later we took a train to Florence for more churches, museums, and Michelangelo's famed David.
